Cameron's Visit 6-14-2009

Cameron and his wife Brittany visiting his Grandmother. He sure did enjoy her cooking. Can't get that in Afghanistan.

Yea! Cameron came home for his two week R&R this month. Of course his visit was way to short and he is way to thin. He'll need to go back to Afghanistan for some rest after this whirl wind two weeks of trying to visit everyone. But he looked good was in great spirits and was enjoying his time home. I miss him already.

New Purse

I made this out of a faux suede and it has a satin striped lining. with interior pockets and a snap closure.Took me almost five hours of sewing. Next time I'll us a pattern instead of a sheet of notebook paper.

My Rosaries

These are two of the rosaries I have made. These I made for myself. The rosary on the left is a a regular rosary made with amethyst and tiger-eye beads, on purple coated wire. I used a Miraculous medal center piece and a two-tone crucifix. The rosary on the right is a St. Joseph rosary using amethyst beads my son Garett gave me and some white glass beads. It has a Sacred Heart centerpiece and a Papal Crucifix with a St. Joseph medal. Start to finish takes about two hours.
